Job-related German language support (BSK) in Bremen

These language courses are primarily aimed at migrants. They are supported by your employment agency or your job centre in cooperation with the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF). There you will receive a certificate of entitlement or obligation. Participation in a job-related German language module is generally free of charge. 
For jobseekers, the costs are fully covered. Trainees and employed persons may have to pay 50% of the costs by themselves. We will be happy to advise you.

Course content

In this course you will improve your German language skills for your job. The language lessons are practice-oriented and include job-related topics so that you are well prepared for a professional activity or training. You expand your German language skills to the target level A2, B1, B2 or C1. The learning material is included.

Certificate

Our BSK courses end with the telc DTB (Deutsch Test für den Beruf) examination, which is taken after the language course at the respective level. This exam is taken by the participants of the language course. The exam is not open to external candidates. The examination fee is included in the price.

Admission requirements

Proof of language level A1, A2, B1 or B2 by means of an official certificate (telc, Goethe, TestDaf), which is not older than 6 months, or by taking a placement test with us.
Certificate of eligibility or commitment from your employment agency, your job centre or the BAMF.

Duration

16 weeks full time course with 25 lessons per week = 400 lessons of 45 minutes each 

Exception B2 course with bridge element B1/B2:
20 weeks full-time course with 25 lessons per week = 500 lessons of 45 minutes each
